How to balance/fix glutamate? If I eat too many glutamate foods (nuts, beans, grains, cheese) my ocd symptoms increase and my mind is racing. Most people I know can eat tons of those things, but if I so much as have more than one serving of beans or a few spoonfuls of peanut butter, it gets worse.

I did research and it has something to do with your body/brain being unable to balance it or something like that. I know GABA balances it out, and I get a lot of it every day. I eat apples, berries, spinach, tomatoes, and occasionally fish. But I guess it doesn't help much. Anyone know how to fix it?
