I am sick of slugs always crawling in my food garden and getting in my lettuce. I have nearly died on account of snails and slugs, specifically. Now they have even invaded my house, specifically trying to get in my shower and my kitchen. How can slugs and snails be eradicated from the planet? Surely it must be possible to deal with the immediate issue using food grade diatomaceous earth, eggshells and salt to keep them outside and to deal with them when they get inside but I want to know how to get rid of them period. Can a salt making protein be genetically spliced into them so they self destruct? Can genetically modified toads be used to destroy them and specifically go after gastropods? There has to be a way to deal with this menace.
