1) Thoughts beget reality (which consists of matter)
2) Yet the brain, which is matter, precedes this thought which begets reality (and therefore the brain begets itself)
3) The above is a violation of causality that actually exists within the universe - therefore idealism is the key to faster than light and backwards time travel.
