1. You don't start with proofs or logic. You start with basic mathematics, and then calculus.
2. You don't need multiple books for the same level of class. Take one good book on proof (or another subject) and learn it. Cross reference with other books absolutely, but don't front to cover multiple of the same subject
3. A book on logic is completely optional. "Book of Proof" should teach enough logic.
4. An entire self-taught course on euclidian geometry is ridiculous
5. Something these charts also fail to mention is the need to talk to other people and ask questions.

Even more of a joke than >>13077847.

1. First of all, the concepts are out of order

2. It is almost entirely obscure graduate level concepts

3. Once you reach a certain point, it is impossible to be into all the topics, and you must specialize, so having extremely high graduate level topics from each field as one curriculum is wrong.

Yeah, the thing with me is that when on a topic, I tend to want to completely cover each and every possible case; wasting my time with specific cases. I guess complete mastery in a topic comes with gradual familiarity through solving problems, finding out what went wrong when you make mistakes, and getting a different level of exposure to said topic in higher levels. An example being becoming more familiar with Precalculus in Calculus, and Calculus in the higher Mathematics.

Yes, absolutely. In my opinion, the most important thing in math is doing exercises, problems, and asking questions. Of course, you do need to actually study the material. But you can be selfish. You don't owe these books anything. You simply owe yourself a good understanding of what you think matters.

If you're learning physics you don't need 95% of this shit. Take Calc I - III, maybe a diff equation class if you're up for it and linear algebra. All the extra math is usually introduced in the textbook

Diff Geo: actually MTW is considered a fine diff geo text. For Algebra, Gallian->Dummit & Foote is a very solid foundation.
