Perfectly Balanced D4 is Impossible?

Is creating an equilateral D4 impossible? I've been working in Blender to try and create this shape, and I don't know what the fuck is going on with the math. It's not as simple as you might think.
The shape, regardless of anything you do, seems to always become "unbalanced" by some reason of mathematical operations. Is this because I am trying to create this shape in a binary system? Is it something to do with the geometric space?
It seems like this shape NEEDS infinity or something (maybe a ternary computer) to be created. Otherwise, it seems like it's always unbalanced in a binary system.
