Let me know if the following is true, correct me if it isn't:
1. mRNA is injected, and makes its way to cells via lipid nanoparticles (oil)
2. mRNA delivers instructions to modify the cell
3. cell begins to produce SARS-COV-2 spike proteins as instructed.
4a. modified cell dies? or
4b. Cell continues to live, and exhibit mitosis, thus propagating more cells that produce the spike protein.
Do we know for sure regarding 4, one way or the other? Or is that something that will be determined once the long term trial is done?
