Are there some products that are produced in space? For example I was watching NileRed making transparent wood, and in the last step he needed to cover it in methyl methacrylate and wait a few hours, but the resulting wood came out better on one side than the other, because of gravity.
Thus my question, are there some processes that need great precision and can't have gravity working on them? For example is there some chemical reactions that NASA does in space, because of the lack of gravity? Or is it possible and cheaper to somehow resolve this on earth?
