I'm usually really good with geometric intuition, but FUCK some of this topology shit is hard to visualize. Any tips? I'm stuck trying to draw a 2-torus with at least 4 critical points (all centers), plus whatever else is needed. By the poincare-hopf theorem the indices should sum to the euler characteristic, -2, meaning i need to add critical points equal to -6, or in essence, 6 saddle points. How the fuck am i supposed to draw 6 saddle points and 4 centers on the plane model of 2-torus?
