There have been a lot of fatal crashes with Tesla vehicles in what is supposedly their antonymous mode, and now there's some backpedaling with regard to how ready the software is. Furthermore there's a large Class action lawsuit going on that will be heard this summer of the shady dealings with how Tesla's acquisition of solar city.

The problem with this line of argumentation, from Tesla's point of view, is that they were talking about how it "near superhuman" before the crash occurred. It'll be difficult to argue that you could both buy an functional autonomous tesla, but that using that ability is also dangerous and that you can abandon the wheel.

Oh it'll make it to orbit a couple times, but it'll never do all the BS that it said to do in the marketing.
E2E is impractical, starship is overkill for the commercial launch market, and Mars colonization is a meme because no one else is developing all of the other technology needed to make a self sufficient colony.
