These last couple years I've seen some people taking deep investigation immortality. María Blasco achieved to increased rats live 40% by using this process cancer use to be immortal. Idk too much, Im a pretty dumb guy. Is it possible we achieve to be immortal in the next 100 years? Do you like the idea?

Whatever breakthrough that might come, it won't be from telomerase or that retarded jellyfish. It is just a marketing topic for media at this point.

Are you retarded? Telomerase breakthrough has already happened. Whatever is coming next will be something else. Telomerase is not only rejuvenating gene-therapy there is. There's also klotho and some others names o which I don't remember, because I'm waiting when the price goes down and then I will take them all (I expect this technique to become affordable in ten years or so)

this desu, death is an integral part of the human experience. immortality would take away from our humanity cheapening our whole existence. one can only hope that future oversight committees and bioethicists do the right thing and ensure that if immortality (or something close to it, 90 years should be enough for everyone) ever becomes possible they do the right thing and prevent widespread adoption.
