Linear algebra exercise

Sup /sci/ my teacher gave us a cool assignment and I was trying to solve it.
It says that R is the space of polynomials and V is a subspace of R such that isn't an orthogonal complement of V.
So far I made a matrix with the same dimension of R (generic) and placed a at a generic index and I did the same for the other subspace but I'm unsure.
