When I realized I was being treated differently by everyone because I was the smart kid, so 11-12 ish. And that studying wasnt required to get decent grades.
In hindsight, it was worse mistake of my life, as it nuked my work ethic. But I have a decent social life/skills

a kid that developped slightly faster than their peers will obviously have an advantage because you are out of sync with the rest, it ofc does not mean you will continue to be the smart kid into adulthood, quite the opposite in most cases
