Well lads, this is it.
I am ~5 weeks from graduating with a (probable) 1st-class Masters in Physics from Oxford, but I still don't feel like I know anything at all. I just learnt some equations and specific niche theories in various fields, none of them especially well.
I have a PhD lined up, but that will only specialise me, it won't do anything for my general understanding of wider physics. Is this normal? Does nobody actually know anything, or have I done something wrong? When can one consider oneself "smart" or "knowledgeable"?
Cause I'm still waiting.
