I hear German virologists sometimes blab about the pandemic still going on in 2024 (e.g. brinkhaus@lanz).
Why that? Is the corona virus becoming more potent as we speak? I heard a vaccinologist say that monovalent vaccines like the RNA ones increase selection-pressure for the virus to become stronger. Like a gain-of-function assay in people.
