If you want to see UV get your lens removed. Some people can see further into the UV with it gone (mostly women). For IR, funnily enough a good friend of your pic's source popularised a method for inducing improved night vision which uses a chemical which binds and converts IR radiation into visible light.
It's not like full blow night vision though, you can just see a bit better in the dark. And they were quite worried about it causing damage to the retina from full light so used blacked out scleral contact lenses to keep out the light when indoors.
