Sexual reproduction happens in advanced organisms, but viruses only mutate. Two viruses do not meet in a host cell, combine their RNA into DNA, and then infect the cell. However if they do, they would gain a survival of the fittest strategy, and we will be doomed. Since viruses have not done it on their own, are we to do it for them?
