Monomers do leach from cured composite, but the amount drastically decreases of a couple of days, and they do clear renally from the body. Ceramic inlays and onlays are cemented with composite but the quantities are tiny compared to whole fillings, and if we are talking small fillings you can probably request glass ionomer which is very easy on living tissue.
