Tutorfags, what is your experience tutoring STEM subjects? Any horror/funny stories?
I'm working part time as an online tutor for north american students (most High School, and undergraduate students), and with rare exceptions, I feel the urge to slap the face of
every middle/high school student that is assigned to me.
Here is my experience so far:
North Americans: 100% Retards. When they know something, it is only a memorized formula, that they aren't sure how to apply.
Indians: I get most of those in Computer Science sessions. They are fucking dumb. Every code they write is a compilation of how to NOT write code.
Chinese and Jewish: Those are the ones that gives me less headaches. All the Chinese students I've got to teach didn't even need the tutoring sessions, and the Jewish are a gift from heaven: They are polite, organised, and have the expected background knowledge for their grade.
