What do you think the viability of structural batteries are? Is it the new way to make EVs more efficient? Or is it just a conspiracy to sell more lithium ion batteries from china?

All cars use electricity in some way or another. I think you meant to say battery powered vehicles. The problem with battery powered cars is they are extremely expensive. Doing something like that would just make the cost even more exorbitant.

if this worked. Then thebcar companies should be all over it. As it is built in obsolescence. When the battery degrades enough or a minor fender bender occurs. The car is basically scrap.as the battery is integral to the body. You cannot change the battery out and continue the life of the car.

one of the most stupid ideas ever. you get into a crash, and your cars body shorts and bursts into a violent lipo fire/explosion. rescue teams wont be able to cut you out of your car, you do not want to cut through a live battery. you surround yourself with high electric potentials, with enough amps to melt metal. what could go wrong?
