Does every aspie get their diagnosis early or is it possible to be undiagnosed?

A lot get diagnosis after 40 years, and it is reasonable to assume many remain undiagnosed their entire lives, especially women.

well I moved to a third world country for the relevant years of my childhood, so missed it. I'm sure I'm autistic now but I don't see any advantage to getting diagnosed. In fact it seems there is an autism movement campaigning against treatments...

The thing you can get is therapy on how to handle things, such as piloting.

Every other is misdiagnosed, and lot of diagnosed people are unrelated cases.

They don't see how shallow doctor see, if he think he can read patient's toughts.

I know two really annoying women that got diagnosed at 30 something. I think it’s common for women to be diagnosed later but not sure about men

Most people with autism were undiagnosed. Mainly due to us only now understanding part of it and giving it a name.
