Jackson isn't very hard, it's an excellent reference. Most of the problems are actually very manageable even for undergrads. A minority are very difficult.
Griffiths on the other hand is largely handwavey rubbish which might as well have been pre emptively titled Reddit Studies Electricity and Stuff
