/sci/entifically speaking, why are women more prone to perform well in /lit/erature?

I'm still in the 12th grade (I'm 18) and I have to sit the baccalaureate at the end of June, where one of the parts of the test is literature, along with Maths and Phys/CS/Bio/Chem. I have seen over the years, and in my own class, that girls are the ones who tend to score higher in the literature part, while boys tend to do better in the STEM parts

Why is it so?

Being good at lit means being good at saying a lot to say very little which women excel at.

I think it boils down to
1. Most girls just studying more by default
2. Girls being more likely to have gay interests like art and literature

not really, most of my classmates aren't that intelligent nor do they study a lot
