How normal is it to daydream? I daydream all the time no matter what I do. I often daydream even when I talk to people and look them in the eye. I don't initiate it myself, it just happens. I have learned to control it somewhat so I'm able to give off a few "mhm" and "yes" even though I'm daydreaming and I am able to snap out of it and than kind of rewind and piece together what the person said so I can keep up with the conversation.
I've been like this all my life. I'm 35 now. I really like it and don't really view it as a negative apart from it sometimes make it a bit hard to follow a conversation, especially with multiple people. It also makes reading take longer because I always start daydreaming about the stuff and suddenly I have branched off with an elaborate alternative continuation of what I read.
Do other people have it like this too?
