>>13051851>You receive a fraction of what your labor is worth that is exploited by the capitalist who benefits from it.You are a brainlet, you faggot. Under a free market, your labor is worth no more than what you get for it in money. If your labor was worth more, you could always ask your employer to raise your wages.
Also, what metric do YOU use to decide how much labor is worth? Why should anyone else use your metric?
If I am willing (without being coerced) to work a certain amount for a certain amount of money, then I am not being exploited since I'm getting paid exactly what I agreed to.
Also, value depends on the person who measures it. Let's say you have a banana and you're willing to give it to me if I bring your phone from your house to you. Let's say you find walking extremely difficult while I don't, and let's say you're not hungry while I am. Now, because I value your banana more than my walking, I am perfectly willing to get you your phone. And because you value having your phone more than your banana, you are perfectly willing to give me your banana if I get you your phone.
Now, if I get you your phone and you give me your banana, both of us will have benefited. How is anyone being exploited here? Economics is not a zero sum game.
It's not like the banana and the phone have objective values whose sum has to be conserved. The total value of [ you with your phone (but without a banana) and me with a banana (but with less energy) ] is greater than the total value of [ you with your banana (but without a phone) and me with more energy (but without a banana) ].
I know this is a pretty shit analogy, but you're a total fucking brainlet if you're a marxist.
