I saw this study posted here last night and got me thinking: how widespread is the replication crisis? Is it focused mainly in psychology?

On a related note, i saw a post about how lab rats have different length polymerase chains than in the past, which is leading to skewed results in studies, and scientists don’t seem to care. Obviously the OP didn’t provide any data, i was wondering if anyone has any info on this?
