OP, I had this happen to me. My sister ended up getting the schizo genes instead of me. I was very worried about it so I'm going to give you advice:

>do not take anti-psychosis meds unless you were diagnosed with psychosis and your doctor told you so. if you take it now you will most likely have the effect you are trying to avoid

Don't do high schizo risk drugs (lsd, weed etc) until you're 20-25. Don't skip sleep for more than 2 days straight. You should be in the clear when you're 20-25 or so.

Alcohol is fine if you don't constantly binge drink. If you start experiencing psychosis immediately seek treatment. Longer psychosis goes on the more unhinged you get.
