Its diet and region based. I had allergies when growing up in Puerto Rico. Moved to Spain in my mid teens and haven't had those allergies since.
Some foods are inflammatory as well.

use benadryl to shut down the attack initially. then use zyrtec and flonase combined in a preventative manner. they are magic together, but you HAVE to stay ahead of it. don't wait for an attack to start.
