I got my first pfizer shot about two weeks ago, due for my second early next month. I was fine up until a few days ago when my left eyelid started twitching, and though there's no physical/aesthetic indicators (i don't look like I have typical bell's palsy for example, face is still symmetrical), my left cheek and the muscles around my left temple are feeling a bit numb and tingly, and the vision in my left eye is getting slowly, but steadily worse. Caffeine, ibuprofen, and anything else that reduces inflammation tends to help, so my symptoms seem to be occurring due to the same sort of cranial nerve inflammation that causes bell's palsy. The occurrence of bell's palsy in covid golems isn't terribly surprising, since the method by which the vaccines are supposed to prevent covid symptoms causes similar a immune system load that causes bell's palsy. Not terribly worried, since I've recovered from worse and more sinister things in the past, but since my next jab is coming up I figured I'd put this here and give updates to either cast fud or alleviate concerns.
Anyone else experiencing shit like this because of the vaccine? Anyone had bell's palsy or some other immune system-related neurological affliction?
