Science is in crisis, because it's overly analytical and rejects holism.
Analytical thinkers will focus on one piece of the puzzle, studying it in increasingly more detail, which however leads nowhere, or it even makes them get it blatantly wrong, as the piece doesn't have any meaning alone, as it only can be understood as a small part of the picture.
