I worked in the seafood department of a large grocery store and we never fed the live lobsters. A quick web search says a lobster in good health can go a year without food and they're usually not fed in captivity because that would cause them to poop, which is an unnecessary hassle to deal with and because food for the lobsters cost money so why spend it if it's not necessary. Sounds like a typical plebbit karma farming made up story.
