Out of about 9 jobs that emailed me back, 3 of them had me take a pseudo iq test (had progressive matrices). This was for engineering, so maybe for burger flipping they don't care, but either way you're wrong if companies don't try to gauge your iq in roles where you need it to succeed.

The part with the mixed race children being between the pure black and pure white children in performance is the part I find the most convincing, since the US still largely operates under the "one drop rule" where anyone who is even part black or has a significant degree of black features is seen and treated as black (see: our first "black" president being half white). Therefore, they would be treated the same as pure black children, so you can't attribute their difference in performance to racism, with the only other plausible explanation being the (unseen) presence of white genetics.

Because all of its opponents get gibs. The white opponents get to virtue signal. The black opponents get to blame their problems on factors other than their intelligence.

The most important factor here is that the US government remains moot on the subject. That is because it is illegal for the US government to discriminate based on race. Lawsuits based on race discrimination are easy to win for litigants. So the USG won't touch the subject with a 10 foot pole.

The only place such discussions live on is in the shadows of academia.

In my opinion much of black society's problems arise from trying to place the average black child and young adult into environments they are underqualified for.

It's also fucked because if you're smart and black you have to compete with a lot of black mouth breathers for the same amount of affirmative action slots.

So to return to the original question (inb4 reddit spacing) it's so taboo because most parties in the United States have it in their interest to pretend like it doesn't exist.

Or they have the hiring data that shows high iq (or proxies for iq) correlate with success in certain roles. These weren't small corporations, P&G does this, entire industries exist to create hiring metrics that are proxies for iq because of the efficacy of iq scores and the retarded laws surrounding using iq tests directly.
