is it normal to get mogged by 95% of peoples pages you visit on linkedin?
I thought I was 1%, I was in the top class in hs and was top 1/2 students there, beyond that there is no real comparison but I majored in STEM then a short break and masters in stem, nothing fancy work experience wise.
I thought I should be in the top 10 or 20%
instead by random sampling of linkedin pages I'm in the bottom lowest 5%
If they are older than me they absolutely MOG with their past experience and education
increasingly I also find a ton of people who have 0 breaks and tier one undergrad stem + tier one international post grad stem, then some tier one firms interning and 1-2 years experience at
I did some research and supposedly only 30% have a level 5 education so bachelors or vocational equivalent, and only 15% of those are in STEM, and only 10% of post grads are in STEM
By this calculus I should be in the 1% just by virtue of going STEM. and making it to level 6... but yet I'm getting absolutely MOGGED left right and centre
I also checked and statistically the median age on graduation for masters and phd is 32-34, I finished msc at 26 yet every phd I find is cucking me with a 24-26 phd graduation and 3+ internships at tier ones.
