so keep practicing
develop your neural network and adapt it to do math work, with plenty of exercises and think of what you are doing when following steps, in no time you will be smarter than the average

C is meant to be the difference between the two constants you get from integrating both sides btw.

You have an algebraic equality not an equality of function. Obviously 2x+3 is noy equal to 15 in all the domain of both functions. You may try an equation integrating both sides and looking in what region the integral of both functions are the same but from your first equality the second one doesn't follow generally.

Genuine question, does anyone actually understand math? I'm talking about things like after deriving a formula whether anyone actually intuitively understands why those specific values/variables "just happen to work"? Concrete example, why is the parabola vertex x coordinate -b/2a? Obviously I know how it is derived (like the quadratic formula), but I don't understand why it works with these values, what's special about them? What makes sense is that c isn't included, as it doesn't impact the x coord of the vertex, but beyond that I have no idea.

I do, as explained. -b/2a is the vertex, the part after the ± is the horizontal distance to the x intercepts. If you have such a deep understanding, how about you give a shot explaining it?

Oh man, I have this problem so fucking much.
I would love to learn math, I'm so fascinated by it and everything. It really speaks to me and I don't know why, but for shit I can't do a basic task. I really don't understand where is the problem and that fucking sucks.

Also if I learn something, the next day I forgot how to do it again, it's super weird, makes me feel depressed. I'm probably too retarded for math, but I can't express how much angry I'm when I just am not good at math the way I want to be. It really sucks desu. I wonder if I can change that.

As for why the c isnt included: if you have a function and just add or subtract a constant at the end, how does it move?

Yea I cant read but to answer your original question take the derivative, set it equal to 0, and solve for x. Or you could take the average of the two solutions of the quadratic formula since all parabolas are symmetric. The formula comes from completing the square
