If you know you're being watched all the time you'll stop listening to your conscience and consistently act in whatever fashion you think will protect or increase your status in the eyes of the watchers. You'll drop your morality in favour of virtue signaling, avoid careers that don't conform with your perceived social role ect ect... Every second of every day you'll be trapped in that social game for status and it will get more and more deranged and cancerous as time goes on with no ability to relax and be true to yourself.
