>>13029772Probability is fine (mostly), but people need to understand that statistics is neither science nor mathematics. Sure, statistics uses science to make models and then math to form probabilities. Everything in stats is a heuristic - when is it safe to use a normal model, when is it safe to assume you know the standard deviation, when is a result trustable to not be due to random chance. Even p-value aren't so hard when you consider that the discrepancy statistic is a choice.
