It really doesn't seem constructive. This place is an echo chamber for assholes with an ego that want to seem smart.
I come here to see if there's any neat science thing making front page from time to time.
I don't claim to be a smart /sci/entist. I suffered cognitive brain damage in 2019. Regardless of my intelligence, I know that I am limited by that. There are some intelligent people here that CAN technically critique new ideas, but there are very slim odds of those individuals replying to someone's "new theory of gravity". Since those types of threads happen every other hour.
