>>13028428I got into grad school with a lower GPA than that and no publications. Almost nobody has 4 publications coming out of undergrad. Maybe in the 30s that would be possible, but not anymore. A number of the people in my department had 1 or 2 publications out of undergrad. As far as I know, none of them had 4 publications, although I suppose it's possible. Unless you have a ton of connections and truly amazing skills, it seems doubtful.
What I did have, was a few "independent study" type classes beyond just the basic requirements for a math BS, and I also had a good idea of what I'd be doing (combinatorics and graph theory for networks/mathematical biology). That being said, I am an M.S. pleb, so if your trying to get into a PhD, then you might be fucked, idk, but I doubt it.
