How can higher level science and math be used in every day life?
Such as - someone who is not an engineer, what can they use calculus, linear algebra, statistics, etc. for? Same with general things like electronics, signals, and the sort.
I'm not asking to try to imply the average person shouldn't need to learn math. I'm asking for reasons specifically to learn math and science. For example, can I use calculus and statistics to figure out buying patterns for a product I want to sell if I have the right data? Seems like there could be fun and useful applications for everyone, but what are they?
