It's actually very detrimental to you mentally speaking and can stunt your growth socially if you do not have these experiences early on. If you're in your 20s and a virgin, no matter what retards say about "it's okay to take it at your own pace", you are seen as a social outcast, a loser, failure, whatever you want to cal it, and it's almost impossible to catch up because you missed a severely crucial development window.
