What is the point of learning calculus inside out and learning so many ways to differentiate and integrate and proof it etc when I can just get a computer to do it for me and who the fuck cares about proof if it works

EZ,computers just throw numbers with the rules of calculus, but not always is easy to realize if the results have sense. or sometimes, knwowing the basic rules you can find the mistake of a program/ algoritm really fast

because the theory that lets the computer do it takes an understanding of calculus. Hell, the theory that lets computers do magic generally takes a mix of analysis, combinatorics, abstract algebra, and logic.
