>>13004856Well, i'm still a student, so take what i say with a grain of salt. In my experience, most are really nice, often quiet and reserved, and genuinely happy if you are interested in their research. Some are condesending. A fair amount are autistic. It probably depends on their field too. Literally everyone in the genetics department of my uni is super nice, and helpfull (though they are a bit autistic sometimes). Same thing for the cellular biology and stem cell departments, though they do take them selfes maybe a bit too seriously. The genetics department people have a better sence of humor... But for instance like half of the taxonomy department profs are major cunts. Chemistry guys are almost all really awesome, curious and often somewhat aquward people. The mathematicians and physicists can be a bit weird, but often in a good way. They probably have a higher concentration of autists, but even autists can be nice, if a bit hard to talk to.
