My idea is interrupt the flow of horizontal gliders (representing the output signal) generated by a true p120 using a vertical true p120, whose gliders collide with those of the output signal in such a way that they both disappear.
On the right there is another vertical one, which shoots however 2 gliders per period; this gun should be placed at a different height than the previous, so that the gliders shot by the previous result in phase with the second ones shot by this one; at a height lower than the output signal (assuming that the vertical guns are placed higher), there is a terminator dot to absorb these gliders when they are not needed.
The input signals are two horizontal streams of gliders generated by true p120 guns, whose vertical position is between the output stream and the two stopping guns.
They are in positions such that one stream collides with that of the leftmost stopping gun (with a collision that eliminates both gliders); the other instead is in a position lower than the first and that allows its gliders to pass between those of the leftmost stopping gun, so that they collide with the first ones shot by the rightmost, in such a way that they create a backwards spaceship which then collides and eliminates the second one of the period.
If no inputs are active, the output is stopped by the leftmost stopping gun, while the stream generated by the second
stopping gun stops when it hits the dot.
If only the first input is active, its stream eliminates that of the leftmost stopping gun and the output can move a little bit further, but it is stopped by the gliders of the rightmost gun (the seconds of every period; the first generated in every period shouldn't collide with the output and simply reach the terminating dot.
