are multivitamins a waste of money?
I've read the usual advice that someone eating an average western diet doesnt need them, whilst simultaneously seeing that certain minerals are particularly difficult to get the RDA amounts of even when trying to eat healthy like pic related.
I've also read that the body doesnt actually need that that much vitamins and it basically just stores them for when they're needed and pisses out the excess (which makes me wonder why we have RDA of vitamins at all then?)

Others have said tht there is somehing about multivitamin tables which makes their absorption worse than food?

are any of these correct?
