if theres a non biological mechanism for which a planet could have lots of oxygen this would be a gamechanger, it would mean literal shitty sci fi like colonizable planets with no need of terraforming. literal frontier worlds in which humans could start again forget about technology and like be the plot of a sci fi novel.

i imagine tough that increased oxygen would result in retardedly huge fires so there would be a limit, but what would that limit bne? current earth oxy is like 20% , if it were 30%-40% would it be stable? would it allow us and animals to grow differently?
