People should be required to show their valid driver's license before they can purchase gasoline or diesel. This will reduce many needless deaths on the roadways. The math is in the favor of this social science.

Pros: people with suspended or redacted driver's licenses can no longer purchase gasoline and thus cannot drive without a willing accomplice.

Cons: people who need gas for other purposes such as lan mowing or leaf blowing might not be able to get gas.
