>>12998594I wish we used metric time too, 10 hours in a day, 100 minutes in an hour and 100 seconds in a minute. So instead of 86400 seconds we would have 100000 seconds so the length of the second would only need to be adjusted by 15%. 100 or 20 hours would be options too, 100 especially would be good but it would have higher shock upon implementation so the 10 hour system would probably be more realistic.
Alternatively we could just ditch the 3 step time and go full metric with say 1000 hours and 1000 millihours (or maybe minutes and hours) or at least 1000 hours and 100 centihours (or would 1000 minutes and 100 decaminutes be better?) which would be the same 15% second adjustment, bit like how how metre and centimetre are the 2 human scale prime lengths.
