>>12999075Why would sources exist for my claim? It wouldn't make sense if doctors just disproved their whole science, and most studies about drugs are funded by pharmaceutical companies. For example, psychologists know that the medication for depression is a placebo. If you look at the drugs that do "work" for other psychological conditions like bipolar and schizophrenia, you will find that those work by literally tranquilizing the patient. In the short term, they feel slightly better, but in the long term, they become disabled and their symptoms worsen. If you can get up and go to your doctor to get prescribed drugs, you won't die from your ailment--that's almost certain; however, if you take the medication your symptoms can get better or worse. After a while, as the chemical accumulates in your body, you will begin to notice side effects. These effects could leave you feeling worse than you did before doing any treatment. Think about it, how could one chemical fix--not bandage--a problem that you have in your body caused by complex factors, maybe even tens or hundreds of different endogenous substances and hormones? It can't. Give me a single example of a drug that FIXES a problem and doesn't just cover up the symptoms.
