"Realistically" all zombies violate thermodynamics, period. They're magic, even if it's magic dressed up as sci-fi it's still literal magic. Like there's a million OTHER things after that which are all silly too, but when your entire concept starts out by breaking thermodynamics you're already off the realism farm anon. No need for further analysis, just enjoy the fun while remembering it's fantasy.
