Will our (humans) burning of hydrocarbons leave a tell-tale layer in the earth?
As in ice-core samples from the north or south pole thousands of years from now -- will they show <some> chemical(s) or anomalous amount of a chemical(s).
Also, what about the solid earth (dirt/rocks) - what will it leave there?
