Those two images have no relation to Nanking or to ny question. It sounds like you're being skeptical for the sake of it, instead of actually providing evidence. I'm no supporter of Iris Chang, i wouldn't consider her a good source. I'm much less a fan of China. Believe me, it's be more comfortable for me to believe the massacre didn't happen. But breaking free from lies also means being open to ideas that are uncomfortable.

So, again, is there direct evidence here that foreigners were paid to tell lies about Nanking?

Judging by the author's background, he seems like the other end of the spectrum compared to Chang. I wouldn't trust either of them.
